This month we are launching the first 010DEV event, a new social-tech event for software developers. The goal of 010DEV is to create a vibrant software development community in the Rotterdam area. Our first event includes a hard-core technical presentation by Trisha Gee, a less serious presentation by Peter Hilton, and plenty of free* beer.
A few weeks ago, on 14 February 2012, Peter Hilton presented Play Framework 2.0 at Jfokus, in Stockholm. Jfokus, which Ludovico wrote about was an excellent conference and well worth the trip. There was also a good turn-out for my presentation. Here’s the presentation summary, by the audience, via Twitter.
On 3 February 2012, Lunatech hosted a Play!ground event at Paddy Murphy’s Irish pub in Rotterdam - an event for developers interested in the Play framework. Here are the slides from the presentations.
By popular demand, we have arranged a bigger location for next month’s February Play!ground event, for Play framework users, because we have had close registration for previous events that were full. Instead of using the Lunatech office, which limits us to thirty attendees, we have booked a location with capacity for 150 people.
Following a break for Christmas, we are now planning the next Play Framework event, for software developers and technical managers. For details and registration, see http://playframework.eventbrite.com/
