This year I bit the bullet and got myself rid of a decade-old relationship with Nokia to get a phone with a good Internet experience. I then used this new phone on vacation instead of the usual laptop to stay connected. Here's a list of things I've learned during this experiment.
On September 26th, 2008, the Lunatech Golf Invitational was held at the Golfbaan Rottebergen. After a few minute last minute cancellations, due to obligations on the European and American tours, 21 players set off to win the coveted event. There were two major prizes which the players were competing for: stableford scoring and stroke play.

After ignoring Twitter at first, my curiosity about a new communication channel led me to start using it this year. The easy thing about Twitter is working out how to use it. The hard thing about Twitter is to explain to other people what is going on and why. This article has a few suggestions.
This article talks about the process of validation in Java EE, more specifically about Hibernate Validation and Bean Validation. We start by describing why we need validation, what solutions are available, how we use them and why they are great. We then proceed to describe their limitations, and offer proposals for resolving those limitations in the hope that the future Bean Validation standard will incorporate our (or similar) solutions.
